Contact and activity privacy

Ryan Nichols for Texas operates this campaign website. This notice covers the contact form and the site's aggregate activity counts. Version: November 4, 2026.

Contact form

The form sends your topic, optional public project location and message to a private campaign inbox for review. You can submit without a name or contact details. Please keep home addresses, identity documents, financial or medical details, private case material and other people's sensitive information out of your message. The form accepts no uploads.

If you choose follow-up, the campaign stores your contact details separately to email or call you about this submission. This permission does not enroll you in campaign texts, email updates or fundraising. A message is not automatically published or sent to a government agency.

Optional contact details submitted under this notice expire 30 days after permission is given. Active contact files that have expired are eligible for removal when the inbox processes new submissions or an operator runs cleanup. Removal may happen after the expiration date. This expiry applies to the separate contact file, not the message. Please leave your contact details out of the message itself.

Copies may remain in backups after the active file is removed. Backup access and retention are handled separately. Hosting systems may process request information to serve and protect the website.

Use the contact form to ask about a prior submission. If you have a receipt, include the receipt number so the campaign can locate it. Please leave sensitive details out.

HD7 video and platform feedback

Participants confirm that they live in HD7. The campaign stores aggregate counts for the answers and a separate hashed browser key to limit repeats. A random key stays in your browser for that purpose. The feedback form does not ask for names, addresses, contact details or voter registration. Responses do not subscribe you to campaign messages.

Community project polls

If a poll opens, a separate residence check is required before a voting code is issued. The ballot asks for the project choice and code. It does not ask for name, address, contact details or voter registration information. The service checks the code against a private eligibility record and adds the choice to the project's total without keeping an individual ballot row.

Website activity counts

When enabled, the site records daily totals for views of selected pages, video play and end events, clicks on share controls, and saved contact submissions. These are activity counts. A person may generate more than one event, and a share click does not confirm that a link was sent.

The counting service stores the date, page, event type and total. The event messages do not include form responses, names, email addresses, phone numbers, tracking parameters or referrers. The counting script does not use cookies or store browser identifiers. Website hosting and ordinary request processing are separate from these totals.
